Fees are to be paid in full, in advance, at the start of each lesson; once paid they are non-refundable, with the below exceptions:

  • Refunds will not be given for non-attendance however students are entitled to attend make up lesson at the same venue or another venue, in lieu if advised in written 48hrs in advance.
  • Upon receipt of a Doctors note for extended absence resulting from serious illness or injury, a refund will be considered at the discretion of the Director of Tennis.

In the event that TPS is forced to cancel a lesson due to circumstances beyond their control, students will be eligible to attend a makeup lesson.

Students are expected to attend all lessons and be punctual.

Payment may be made by:

  • a) paying the coach at the lesson with either cash or cheque made payable to TPS Tennis.
  • b) bank transfer to:

Once payment has been made, please forward the scanned receipt so we can confirm your child’s place. Any bank charges must be borne by the remitter.

A register for each lesson is maintained by the coach which records student attendance.

TPS has a zero-tolerance policy towards negative, abusive, or disorderly behaviour therefore coaches representing TPS reserve the right to ask students to leave premises if their behaviour is deemed unsuitable for the lesson.

Physical contact may be necessary by members of the coaching staff.

Whilst all due care will be taken, you agree to release TPS and all employees of TPS from liability for any injuries to your child while attending lessons at TPS.
Photos and videos may be taken by other parents during the lessons.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Any person who signs up for lessons at TPS will have to provide personal information.

Any personal information collected and held by TPS will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal information will not be passed to any third parties without individual consent unless requires doing so in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 or other laws.

TPS will only use this information as it is intended to provide you with the best possible service, this will include receiving information via email and WhatsApp. If you do not wish to receive any notifications, please email our office on events@tpstennis.com

To reduce the risk of loss, disclosure, and misuse of personal information we use firewalls and data encryption. However, it is not possible to eliminate all risk and therefore TPS cannot accept liability for the loss, disclosure, and misuse of personal information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Analytics

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
